Mossh Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 16, 2026

Mossh is an SSH terminal for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains how Mossh handles data.

Summary

Mossh does not collect personal data, does not include ads, does not use analytics, and does not track you across apps or websites.

Mossh does not operate a developer server for app data. Your SSH host profiles and trusted host keys are stored on your device. Passwords and generated private keys are stored in the iOS Keychain.

Data Stored On Your Device

Mossh stores the following data locally so the app can work:

SSH passwords and generated private keys are stored in the iOS Keychain using device-only accessibility. Mossh does not send these credentials to Xunmi.

SSH Connections

When you open a host, Mossh connects directly from your device to the SSH server you configured. Commands, terminal output, authentication, and uploaded files are exchanged between your device and that server as part of the SSH session.

Xunmi does not receive or store your SSH session content.

Media Upload

If you choose to send media, Mossh uses Apple's system photo picker so you can select images or videos. Selected media may be compressed locally on your device and is uploaded only to the active SSH server you are connected to. Temporary files created during video processing are removed after processing.

Mossh does not scan your photo library and does not upload media to Xunmi.

Purchases

Mossh Pro is purchased through Apple's StoreKit system. Apple processes purchases, payments, refunds, and purchase history. Mossh receives StoreKit entitlement information only to unlock Pro features in the app.

Third Parties

Mossh uses Apple frameworks and open-source Swift packages for terminal rendering and SSH networking. Mossh does not include third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.

Your Choices

You can delete host profiles and trusted host keys in the app. You can remove Mossh from your device to delete local app data managed by iOS. Keychain items associated with Mossh are used only for Mossh authentication features.

Changes

If Mossh changes its data practices, this policy will be updated before or when those changes are released.
